Description
Copeland Borough Council is seeking to appoint a contractor for the provision of one new cremator, filtration plant and ancillary equipment as part of the Distington Hall Crematorium redevelopment project. The scope of works includes the removal and re-installation of the existing cremator to accommodate a second cremator and we aim to do this with minimum downtime to maintain service continuity.
In addition, suppliers are asked to provide a quotation for entering into a ten-year, renewable service, repair and maintenance contract for the new cremator, the existing cremator, filtration plant and all ancillary equipment. The full specification will become available upon registering an interest in the opportunity via The Chest procurement portal.
