Description
This procurement is for a P2PE accredited (or functionally equivalent) credit and debit card transaction approval and processing service, covering card payments taken at unattended automatic payment machines within multi-storey car parks, authorisation of these transactions and the funds being deposited in the Council's bank account.
This service must fully comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS P2PE), or have a system that gives the same level and operation of P2PE, that will meet the Council's requirements. The proposed solution must incorporate all necessary auditing reporting requirements as well as mitigating any risk to the Council regarding any fraudulent activity.
The Solutions Vendor must be able to evidence that they either have an already validated solution I.E listed on https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/assessors_and_solutions/point_to_point_encryption_solutions) or be able to demonstrate that they are in the process of obtaining this validation (evidence must be provided that this will be in place before the point of award.
