Description
The British Council seeks a one supplier to manage a practitioner research fund. Management of the fund will include administration, quality assurance and support to grant recipients. The aim is for practitioners to produce quality, publishable research in key topical areas. The research will support programme monitoring and evaluation and will be disseminated through multiple channels such as academia and teacher networks.
Reference to 'practitioners' means educators working in state funded schools in the UK. These will be classroom teachers, school leaders, teaching assistants etc. The research fund will also consider a limited number of grant applications from other professionals who are not teachers such as teacher trainers or academics.
The supplier may be one entity (i.e. an institution) or made up of a consortium or institutions or individuals. If it is a consortium, one entity must lead the consortium and will be responsible for contracting with the British Council and ultimately accountable for the deliverables.
