Description

The Supplier is required to provide routine adult haemodialysis services from a satellite facility at Lings Bar Hospital in Gamston, Nottingham.

This is to support the Nottingham University Hospitals Renal and Transplant Unit, which is a major regional centre for the provision of renal therapy healthcare services. The overall renal service (The "Renal Unit") includes two inpatient wards, a dedicated outpatient department, and dialysis facilities based at the Nottingham City Hospital Campus, plus NUH-delivered satellite facilities in Kings Mill Hospitals, Ilkeston Community Hospital, and the facility at Lings Bar Hospital (for which Tenders are invited here).

Bidders will be required to attend (via MS Teams) a clinical presentation as part of the tender process, which will be held on Friday 19th May 2023 between 10-11am. The Renal team will provide a high-level overview of the clinical services required to be delivered, and an outline of the wider renal services provided at NUH. This will be a mandatory requirement that all interested bidders must attend. Failure to attend the presentation will mean that bidders will not be able to bid for this opportunity.

Bidders must visit the satellite facility at Lings Bar Hospital in Gamston, Nottingham before submitting tender bid. The bidders have the opportunity to visit the site on Monday 22nd May 2023. This will be a mandatory requirement that bidders must meet as part of the tender process. Failure to attend the site survey will mean that bidders will not be able to bid for this opportunity.

Bidders please note - No clarifications questions regarding this procurement activity will be answered on-site. Bidders must submit all clarifications questions in relation to this requirement through the e-tendering portal.

The Trust will allow bidders to send a maximum of three (3) supplier representative(s) per supplier to attend the clinical presentation and site survey. The bidder may choose to send three (3) different supplier representative(s) to attend the clinical presentation and the site survey.
