Description

Worcestershire County Council is looking for a Service Provider to collect, transport and dispose of landfill leachate from its closed landfill site at Hartlebury.

Hartlebury Landfill is a closed landfill site situated just off the A449 Nr Kidderminster. It was designed on a dilute and disperse principle and accepted approx. 450,000 m3 of waste between 1984 and 1991.

The Service Provider shall have a Waste Carriers Licence and will be required to tanker away leachate from the collection tank on site and to dispose of it at a suitably licenced facility. During 2016 approx. 1,900m3 of leachate was tankered away.
