Description

Exeter Festival, now in its second year, will be taking place on Friday 3 to Sunday 5 July 2020 delivered by the Communications, Culture and Tourism Team at Exeter City Council with support from local partners. We are really proud of Exeter, the city is a thoroughly modern city with a rich mix of retail, food and drink and great things to see and do, and because of this Exeter City Council wants to recognise the city's strengths and celebrate Exeter with 'A City Celebration' in the Summer.

There will be various activities taking place across the city with the main focus in Northernhay Gardens. Located only a minute's walk off the High Street, Northernhay Gardens is a heritage park owned by Exeter City Council made up of grassed areas, treed/shrubbery and planted beds. The Gardens will be transformed for the weekend into a Festival atmosphere featuring children's face painting and making, fresh food and a bustling atmosphere helped by the focal point of a bar.

This year to increase the offering to our audience we would request the supplier provide a separate static pop up bar serving prosecco/cocktails as well as provide the drinks and service for the VIP Lounge. Exeter City Council will only accept one provider for all three bars. We are asking the supplier to provide the following:

• Main Bar: we will provide a marquee, approximately 9m x 6m in size. Alternatively if you would like to provide the infrastructure please advise on application.
• Static Pop up Bar: this would also be located in Northernhay Gardens. We would like a prosecco/cocktail van.
• VIP Lounge: we will provide a marquee (size tbc), we would request the supplier provides the furniture, drinks, glassware and service for the duration of the Festival.
