Description

The Contracting Authority (Hertfordshire County Council or HCC), acting on behalf of the Participating Authorities, is leading on the procurement process to establish a Framework Agreement for the Supply of Independent Living Products (hereinafter referred to as 'Goods') and is seeking suitably qualified Contractor(s) to supply the Goods under any Agreement resulting from this tendering exercise. A list of the Goods required for each Lot is given within the Specification (Schedule 1 or the Framework Agreement Document).

The requirement is divided into 10 Lots, as listed below. Please note - there is no requirement to bid for every line or all the Lots.

Lot 3 Beds & Accessories
Lot 4 Pressure Care
Lot 5 Chairs & Accessories
Lot 6 Grab Rails
Lot 7 Kitchen Household
Lot 8 Mobility & Walking Aids
Lot 9 Moving, Handling, Slings
Lot 10 Specialist Equipment

The requirement is for the direct delivery of Goods to various locations throughout each customer. This will include bulk delivery into central stores and direct to recipient delivery.

Organisations should be aware that due to the nature of the Services and Goods provided, any Framework Agreement formed as a result of this procurement process shall be executed as a deed. Organisations should seek independent legal advice on the implications of this prior to submitting their bid, where appropriate.
