Description
Title: E-learning Solution Soft market Testing
Reference: SMBC 20106 A
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council ("the Council") is in the process of gathering market intelligence to inform the re-procurement of its contract for an E-learning learner management system which expires March 2022 and is conducting this Soft Market Testing Exercise (the "SMTE") as a method of gathering that market intelligence.
Sandwell Council is undertaking this SMTE for a web-based Learning Management Solution. The existing system is due to expire March 2022 and we are interested to hear from potential providers about what solutions are available. This gives potential providers the opportunity to express their interests and help identify the solutions available.
This process does not constitute a formal tender or competitive bidding process and will not result in the letting of a Contract. The Council is undertaking this process solely to test the market to gather information and ascertain the level of interest in this requirement. It is anticipated that tenders for this opportunity will be sought in May 2021-June 2021 to enable a new contract to begin from September 2021. The system will be required to be up and running by March 2022 with the expectation that an implementation period will take place between September 2021 and February 2022.
The Council will be using the In-tend e-Tendering System for this Procurement exercise, please visit https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sandwellmbc to access the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal. From here you will be able to register your company, express an interest in the opportunity, and gain immediate access to Quotation or other related documents. To submit a quotation you will be required to 'Opt In'. For a Step by Step user guide to the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal please click on the `Guidance for Suppliers` section of the website. All procurement responses must be carried out via the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal.
If you require further assistance in respect of the system please contact the In-tend support team on 0844 272 8810.
