Description
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking quotations for Repairs and Maintenance of Automatic Doors.
The contractor should provide a price for annual maintenance for installed equipment to Sandwell's premises as detailed on the pricing schedule. (This list may be subject to change as new sites are added or old sites removed. The Council does not bind itself to this site list and cannot guarantee the level of business which may be generated from this contract.
The contract period will be for 3 years, commencing 1st January 2025 to 311st December 2027.
The estimated annual spend will be between £2,500 and £5,000 This is dependent on the amount of remedial work that is required during the contract
The Contractor shall demonstrate that they are competent to undertake the work detailed in the quotation and have relevant accreditations in place.
The costs of all travel to and from site and collection of keys (from B69 3ES) for access (where relevant) shall be inclusive in the rates submitted in the pricing schedule.
The maintenance and repair service shall cover Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm (excluding bank holidays). Provisions should be made to be able to respond to emergency calls within a 4-hour time period.
The Contractor will be required to submit a quotation to the Premise Manager for any remedial works as and when required.
