Description

Hythe and Dibden Parish Council is seeking a contractor who can supply and install bow top fencing around the Public Open Space at Haynes Way Dibden Purlieu.
The successful contactor will supply and install PPC 6005 Green 1500mm high loop top railings made up from 50x50x3mm box section posts concreted in the ground. The frame should be 40x8mm flat bar, loops to be 12mm round bar at 195mm centres.
The site will require approximately 137meters of fencing to enclose the open space, it is recommended that contractors visit the site prior to submitting a tender.
In addition, the area being fenced off will require two gates, one single gate and one double gate. The gates required will be supplied and install - 1 Single gate should be 1.2m in height, it should be a Hydraulic Self Closing Gate, manufactured to comply with BS EN 1176 for playground equipment and should be Yellow in colour. The double gate to be used for machinery access and should match the fencing in both colour and design.
All vegetation and any old fencing materials should be removed from site by the contractor.
The chosen contractor will be able to demonstrate a successfully track record of delivering fencing projects on time and within budget. The application must provide the Council with a list of references from similar type projects.

III. Hythe and Dibden Parish Council do not bind itself to accept any tender. The Council reserves the right to delete any items from the tender should the tender exceed the budget. No payment will be made in respect of any expense incurred by the tenderers in submitting a tender.
IV. Tenderers should note that prices enter in the Tender would remain fixed for the duration of the project.
V. Tenders should be sent to The Locum Clerk to the Council, Hythe and Dibden Parish Council, The Grove 25 St Johns Street, Hythe Southampton, SO45 6BZ in a sealed envelope or package marked Haynes Way. The envelope should not have any company identification.
VI. Results of the tender process will be presented to Council at the earliest opportunity following the closing date for the receipt of tenders.
VII. All tenders must meet the time scale and completion dates as set out in this document.
VIII. All information requested in the contractor's details must be returned within the tender.
