Description

The purpose of this commission is for the successful bidder(s) to:
• Work with the AHPs (and Supervisor/Employer) to conduct an initial Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) based on the applicant FCP's knowledge and prior experience mapped to Stage 1 & 2 of the Roadmap to Practice.
• Determine appropriate training requirements for the AHP to become an FCP (either FCP Taught Route, FCP Portfolio Route, or a hybrid of both) and set a learning plan. This should be deliverable for both Stage 1 & 2 of the appropriate Roadmap to Practice.
• Manage and deliver learning in regional lots to a minimum of 1,062 FCPs/potential FCPs across England (appendix B).
• Issue certification of completion to FCPs on completion of Stage1 and/or Stage 2 of the Roadmap to Practice to certify they meet the requirements of an FCP and have completed all relevant training.
• Identify to the Centre for Advancing Practice, those individuals that successfully complete or are deemed to have successfully completed Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the appropriate FCP Roadmap.
• Manage processes and governance to enable the education support delivery.
• Establish and maintain close working relationships with HEE Primary Care Training Hubs and/or Primary Care School's to successfully embed into primary care activity, including but not limited to, information sharing on RMSVs, placement support (if required), and scoping AHPs to enrol to training.
• Work in partnership with The Authority and its regional offices, HEE Primary Care Training Hubs, Primary Care Schools, PCNs, and other appropriate education providers across the programme, including: RMSV data and information sharing, accrediting and standardising RMSV training and refresher training, scoping AHPs to enrol onto training, and supporting/understanding the resolution of any regional challenges, and implementation.

It's anticipated that the contract will be for 3 years, with the option to extend for a further 2, subject to need and available budget.
