Description

Construction of mass concrete retaining wall with reinforced concrete parapet
• Including some backfilling works (e.g. no fines concrete, scope tbc)
• Includes access path and steps/handrail at base of wall
• Includes dry stone parapet section to tie in with existing dry stone parapet
• Subcontractor to design all temporary works required for their works
• No subcontract design of the permanent works.

• Compliance with CORMAC's Health and Safety system and ensure the health and safety of your personnel and others whilst at work. All personnel will receive an induction prior to working.
• Compliance with our Site Safety Management System procedures which include for production of regular Safety Check List documents, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• To be committed, in the same way as CORMAC to a fully trained work force which will require personnel supplied by yourselves, to be correspondingly qualified to the appropriate scheme and to carry the relevant card at all times.
• Compliance with CORMAC's Environmental management system
• Compliance with CORMAC's Quality management system
• Compliance with CORMAC's Code of Conduct

The conditions of subcontract are the 3rd Edition (April 2013) of the NEC Engineering and Construction Short Contract as amended in subcontract enquiry.

Re-measured in accordance with BoQ and subcontract conditions of contract. The method of measurement is the Method of Measurement for Highway Works.
