Description

This contract is for scaffolding and working platforms. The contractor will be required to co-ordinate their activities with those of the Client's internal works team and with other contractors employed by the Client.

The contract is offered for an initial term of 2 years with 2 further optional extension periods of 12 months each. Whilst no volume of orders or spend can be guaranteed, it is anticipated that approximately 180 orders per year will be required and the successful contractor must have the capacity to meet this requirement. Throughout the contract period for works to individual properties or blocks of properties. Properties are likely to be occupied by customers of the client whilst the works are undertaken.

Whilst the Contract is initially to undertake the maintenance of the dwellings owned and managed by the Client, the Client retains the right to incorporate into the contract the housing stock of any other organisation that it currently acts or in future may act as the managing agent for, and also to incorporate any additional housing stock they may acquire by development, stock transfer or acquisition into the Contract.

Services providers should have a minimum average turnover over 3 years of £100,000 or be able to demonstrate forward planning to provide services of this value.
