Description

The intention of this Further Competition is to give the construction partners on the North West Construction Hub (NWCH), Medium Value Construction Framework, Lot 6, an opportunity to tender for appointment as the Construction Partner on Laithwaite Park and William Foster Parklife Hubs for Wigan Council.

The tender will take the form of a Mini Competition between partners. This will be 'Stage 1' of a 2-Stage call-off procurement process under the protocols and procedures of the North West Construction Hub. Your submissions should be based upon the information provided and questions asked within the Further Competition document.

Once selected, the successful constructor partner will become part of the Client's broader 'project team' to take the project forward through 'all-party collaborative engagement' to contract agreement. This will be Stage 2 of the call-off procurement process.
The successful constructor partner will be required to appoint his own design team to take the current RIBA Stage 3+ Design (Developed Design) for both schemes, to Stage 6 (Handover and Close Out) to be engaged using the JCT Design and Build Contract, 2016 Edition.
