Description
The Northern Powerhouse policy forms part of Government's Industrial Strategy. It will take a targeted approach to building the North's economy, focusing on tackling the major barriers to productivity facing the North - skills, enterprise, connectivity and trade.
We would like to commission research to understand how commuters and employers in the north of England feel about their experience of transport in the region and to track sentiment towards their confidence in Government's commitment to delivering improvements following on from the widespread disruption caused to journeys by the introduction of the new rail timetable in May. This will help inform the communications strategy for the Government's Northern Powerhouse campaign and provide a benchmark to evaluate its success against transport objectives.
