Description

To support the Council to deliver the Leicester City Carers Strategy actions; to meet the requirements of the Care Act 2014 with the aim of helping to support Carers and prevent crisis. The Council recognises the valuable role of Carers in Leicester and is looking to establish high quality, person-centred, culturally appropriate low level Carers support services to promote health, well-being and independence amongst carers. In addition we are seeking specialist counselling support for Carers and services which will support partnership, engagement and Carer involvement in service development.

The service requirements are described more fully in Section 3 - Service Specifications of this document and consist of several lots.

The service will be available to residents of Leicester.
