Description

Oxfordshire County Council is commissioning two purpose-built supported living schemes for people with complex needs. The schemes are being developed on separate sites at Old Place Yard and Hanwell Fields, in partnership with Cherwell District Council. Each scheme has 6 self-contained units for Autism and 5 self-contained units for Physical Disability - a total of 22 units. Some of the people are currently placed in out-of-county care homes. Others are either in hospital or in specialist schools.

This procurement relates to a group of contracts for the provision of supported living services for people with a learning or physical disability and comprises 4 separate lots as shown below:
• Lot 1 - LD Autism - Supported Living - Old Place Yard
• Lot 2 - PD Cat 1 - Supported Living - Old Place Yard
• Lot 3 - LD Autism - Supported Living - Hanwell Fields
• Lot 4 - PD Cat 2 - Supported Living - Hanwell Fields

The anticipated start date of the contract(s) is 1st June 2017 for a period of 5 years (with an option to extend for up to 24 months in aggregate).
