Description

The prime purpose of this study is to assess the feasibility of achieving the aspiration of a repaired hammerhead crane capable of demonstrating its former functions within the context of the redevelopment of Medina Yard and the proposed new maritime museum facility on site. However, as the redevelopment of Medina Yard may not go ahead, could change or be delayed, other options and key considerations regarding the short to medium term future of the crane must be highlighted and explored.
