Description
Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking an experienced and qualified Contractor to carry out Maintenance of mechanical heating and ventilation equipment at our two Independent Living Sites, Priory View & All Saints View.
Priory View, Dunstable LU5 4FG consisting of 83 apartments and All Saints View, Houghton Regis, LU5 5LP consisting of 168 apartments for residents aged 55+. The schemes provide affordable accommodation for local older people, with access to personalised support and care, whilst helping them to maintain their independence and be part of a vibrant community. The buildings are open to the public and there are commercial tenants, and treatment rooms.
• Carry out Annual Maintenance check on Underfloor Heating in accordance with Manufacturer's Instructions.
• Air Recirculation Units and MVHR both Domestic and Communal to be Annually Serviced and Commissioned in accordance with Manufacturer's Instructions
• Air Recirculation and MVHR Units both Domestic and Communal to have Filters cleaned and to ensure the Recirculation Units are set to the correct time of year (i.e Winter or Summer) at 6 monthly intervals.
• Trace Heating to be annually inspected and serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's Instructions.
• Remedial works carried out as instructed.
• Responsive service for repairs.
The indicative annual value of the Programme is expected to be approximately £90,000 + VAT
The contract will be a JCT Measured Term Contract, 2024
The contract duration will be 1 year with the possibility of extending by 1 further year.
