Description

The Forestry Commission will be awarding a framework agreement for survey work undertaken using B6 plots in accordance with the Forest Mensuration Handbook 2013 (blue book).

The South England Forest District undertakes a range of Forest Surveys throughout the year on the Public Forest Estate in order to maintain the sub-compartment records up to date to inform the district when building market plans and harvesting programmes. The District has an ongoing programme of surveys based on our working blocks system. Most of this work is carried out by our own woodland surveyor and this framework aims to engage contractors to aid in the delivery of the rest of this programme of work.
