Description
Tender for the Provision of a SENDIASS Service
The current contract for the delivery of the SENDIASS (Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) Information, Advice and Support Service) in Sandwell ends on 31 March 2019.
The Council is seeking to identify a suitable agency to operate the SENDIASS service within the Borough from 1 April 2019.
The Children and Families Act 2014 requires local authorities to provide an Information, Advice and Support Service for parents and carers of children and young people with a Special Educational Need and Disability (SEND) and young people who have a SEND.
The Service must provide high quality, impartial information, advice and support on a range of matters relating to education, health and social care.

The contract is for a 3-year period with the possibility of an extension for a further 12 months subject to provision of budget.
