Description

ENGIE on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council is seeking a suitably qualified Consultant to produce the necessary documents which will allow the Transport Policy Team to proceed and be successful with a planning application for a single lane Europarc bus bridge (bus access only). The Europarc bus bridge will be a single lane bridge only and access will only be available to buses which will be controlled by ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) - please see attached design. The connection aims to reduce 'dead mileage' between and to re-route the bus service through economically active areas to increase passengers numbers on the 1, 2 & 20 bus service. The intention is to make the bus service financially sustainable and continue to provide sustainable access to key employment areas on a commercial basis.
