Description
Rykneld Homes Ltd (RHL) is seeking to appoint a contractor to provide a range of internal capital refurbishment and electrical upgrades to occupied properties in North East Derbyshire. These works will include kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms and shower over baths. We are also asking that whole house re-wires are priced and will be called off on an ad-hoc basis as we expect no more than 5 re-wires a year. Please note the pricing of the rewires will not form part of the tender evaluation. Bidders will deliver all works to the RHL Lettable Standard and associated specifications.

Works will be structured on a call-off basis.
The contract will be two year in length with potential for a further one year extension.
A contractor will be appointed to complement RHL's inhouse Direct Labour Force in order to ensure sufficient capacity and flexibility to allow required works to be completed in a timely manner.
Due to the unpredictable nature of reported works, there will be fluctuations in demand for the improvement works required. It is only possible to provide estimated numbers of installations based on previous years. We are anticipating the following installations, Full kitchen upgrades 120 homes, full bathroom upgrades Bathroom, wet-rooms and shower over baths combined 240 and an estimated 40 adaptations.
