Description

The proposed new works shall comprise the replacement of the existing fire alarm system in the Science and Industry Museum's Station Masters House, Station Buildings and the 1830 Warehouse with a new open protocol addressable wireless system to category L1/P1.
The project shall include for:-
The decommissioning, stripping out and removal of the existing fire alarm system and existing fire alarm controls and associated wiring systems to the site wide fire alarm system.
The supply and installation of a new replacement addressable wireless fire alarm system, testing and commissioning and training of the museum maintenance staff.
The works comprise all engineering services, building works, protection and builder's works in connection with the engineering services shall be carried out by the Electrical Contractor.
