Description
1.1 The Department for International Trade is seeking to appoint a Project Partner Organisation (PPO) to co-design, project manage and evaluate a series of pilots which make up the UK-India Healthcare Artificial Intelligence Catalyst (HAIC). The HAIC will pilot the deployment of international healthcare AI technologies into hospitals and Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in some of India's most challenged districts. The first wave, to which this Statement of Service Requirements relates, will involve approximately 3-5 companies and will run from November 2018 to mid-2019. A second wave, involving approximately three times as many companies and pilots, will then run from early to mid 2019 for another 6-9 months. Where AI solutions are shown to be clinically effective and successfully implemented, NITI Aayog (the Government of India's think tank) will support roll-out of these solutions across other parts of the Indian healthcare system.
