Description

As a result of the Bean Review of Economic Statistics, the ONS are investigating the economic activities undertaken by UK businesses and how these are reflected in the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 2007.
As a part of this investigation, ONS wish to carry out a research exercise to evaluate the utility of textual data from business websites in providing insights into the economic activities undertaken by UK businesses. To do this, the ONS require text from business websites, describing the types of activity undertaken by the business.
