Description
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU), on behalf of NHS England Midlands & East (Central Midlands) and Bedfordshire CCG (under joint commissioning arrangements) invites suitably qualified and experienced providers to tender for delivery of Primary Medical Services at Shortstown Surgery, Bedford.
The Commissioners are looking for a provider to deliver:
• High quality, patient centred and value for money (VFM) Primary GP services, delivered in a safe and effective manner.
• Primary Medical Services including Essential, Additional and Enhanced Services.
The contract will commence on 1st November 2017 and will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend up to a further 2 years (5 years maximum).
Based on the current weighted patient list size (2326.98 as of April 2017) the maximum contract value for the service provision resultant of this procurement will be circa £1,445,055 over the life time of the contract (5 years maximum).This figure excludes Enhanced Services and QOF payments.
However it is envisaged that the patient list size will increase as a result of a housing development in New Cardington (Shortstown).
It is envisaged that TUPE will apply.
