Description
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) is the appointed market surveillance authority, responsible for enforcing the Ecodesign Regulations for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information Regulations within the UK.

OPSS will carry out market surveillance to determine the current levels of compliance in the Industrial Fans sector in line with the requirements for Ecodesign Regulations.
2. Aims and Objectives
To test five Industrial Fans / Acoustic Box Fans, ranging from 6" 1500m3/hr to 10" 2500m3/hr, to determine their compliance with EU regulations listed below - in British Standards where applicable.
- Retained Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 327/2011 with regard to the Ecodesign requirements for Industrial Fans.
Testing should be conducted under Measurement category B as referenced in the Ecodesign regulations.
