Description
ERDF Wild Towns.
This project aims at creating, connecting and enhancing green space across 7 towns throughout Gloucestershire.
As part of the project there is scope to improve a section of fragmented watercourse along the Cinderford Brook by creating an easement of passage for multiple species, including salmonids and eels, across four weir structures. The project includes improving the surrounding habitat by creating greater connectivity and delivering key improvements to an area which is designated as a key salmonid river of vital importance, particularly with its close proximity to the Severn estuary.
