Description

Wychavon District Council is looking for a provider to deliver the Promoting Independent Living (PIL) services. The PIL Service ("the Service") is local branding to describe a Home Improvement Agency service operating across the county of Worcestershire.

The service is being jointly procured by a partnership of six District and Borough and City Councils ('Districts') and Worcestershire County Council as set out below;

• Bromsgrove District Council
• Malvern Hills District Council
• Redditch Borough Council
• Worcester City Council
• Wychavon District Council
• Wyre Forest District Council
• Worcestershire County Council

Together these partners shall be referred to as the "Partnership" with Wychavon District Council appointed to act as the procurement lead for this contract.

General Requirements of the Service The Worcestershire PIL service will operate by providing a range of service options to support the improvement of the health and wellbeing of the local population with the aim of adaptations being used to restore the use of the home so that people can regain or retain their independence and carry on living in the community. This will be achieved with service elements supporting the Partnership in a flexible way to provide positive outcomes for people:
