Description

The British Council's Internationalism Strategy aims to create an environment in the UK where all young people have international connections woven into their formal and informal learning. To achieve this ambition, we need the support and engagement of a wider community of likeminded practitioners and organisations - an alliance. We are looking for a facilitator(s) to design and conduct a series of working groups that will convene young people from all UK nations to contribute knowledge, ideas, practical experiences and challenges in formulating our internationalism strategy and approach. The supplier will also synthesise the youth input from these workshops into compelling materials, including videos and other media, that is representative of the views and needs of our nation's young people and can be used in different formats and fora.
To successfully conduct these working groups, the facilitator will have expertise and experience in convening and engaging with young people from diverse economic and social backgrounds. In addition, they must demonstrate an ability to make sense of what young people say in a way that produces meaningful information, and to facilitate the synthesis of these ideas into a short, coherent and compelling statements.
The working groups will represent the diversity of the UK's young people in geography and background.
