Description
The Authority is looking for a Supplier for the provision of a dedicated helpline, consisting of telephone and email support and available for: prototype practices, commissioners, and patients.
Background Information:
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) announced on 14 October 2021 that the National Health Service (Dental Services) (Prototype Agreements) 2015 regulations will fall on 31 March 2022. There are currently 99 high street dental practices and 3 community dental services that are operating under these regulations. These contracts will by default revert to their underlying General Dental Service (GDS) contract and Personal dental service (PDS) agreement contractual terms and conditions. Many of these contracts have operated within the prototype programme longer than they have operated within the UDA system. As a consequence of a changed way of working NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE/I) recognises that prototype practices, practice staff, patients and commissioners will need support across the transition period as practices prepare to revert to their underlying GDS/PDS agreements.
In order to reduce practice burden and ensure smooth transition for patients, commissioners and contractors NHSE/I are seeking to mobilise a dedicated helpline, consisting of telephone and email support and available for: prototype practices, commissioners and patients from December 2021 - 30 June 2022.
Essential Skills Deliverables:
Bidders will need to demonstrate their skills, experiences, and ability to deliver the specification and value for money through a quality element of the scoring and bid evaluation process.
Deliverables:
