Description

The Project aims to provide environmental enhancements in the Foss Catchment to deliver benefits to the Water Framework Directive (WFD) in mitigating the impact of sediment on ecology but also benefits for flood risk and for reducing maintenance for flood risk assets. The catchment will also benefit from dedicated resource to facilitate education for land managers and raise awareness on how changes to land management practices could improve riparian and fluvial habitats.
