Description

TBW004 - Summer Bedding 2019

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking quotations for the supply of summer bedding plants, for its parks, highways and other determined public areas.

Please Note: REVISED PRICING DOCUMENT HAS REPLACED THE ORIGINAL SUMMER BEDDING TOTALS PRICE SCHEDULE AND CAN BE LOCATED WITHIN THE CLARIFICATION TAB PUBLISHED WEDNESDAY 5TH DECEMBER 2018. PLEASE ENSURE YOU SUBMIT THE REVISED PRICING SCHEDULE INSTEAD OF THE ORIGINAL PRICING SCHEDULE.

The Council will be using the In-tend e-Tendering System for this Procurement exercise, please visit https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sandwellmbc to access the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal.

From here you will be able to register your company, express an interest in the opportunity, and gain immediate access to Quotation or other related documents.

To submit a quotation you will be required to 'Opt In'.

The Quotation Document(s) will be made available to suppliers who Express Interest on the Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council Tendering Portal. To access the portal please click the following link https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sandwellmbc

You will be required to log into an existing account or register a new one. Once logged in, from the top menu bar click on "Tenders" to list all the current opportunities. Once you have found the relevant opportunity you should click on "View Details" in order to Express Interest.

Closing date for submission of quotations is 11 January 2019

Delivery Notes

(a) The goods are to be delivered free of charge to the Council, and at the risk of the Contractor, in such quantities, to such locations and in such manner as the Council's officers, duly authorised, may from time to time order upon the Official Purchase Order form. (Provided that an order number issued verbally and subsequently confirmed by an officer of the Council shall be deemed to have been properly made in accordance with this clause at the time of receipt by the Contractor of the verbal order). The Council will not be liable for goods ordered in any other manner.

(b) A delivery note, quoting the Official Purchase Order Number must accompany all goods supplied.

(c) Invoices, quoting the Official Purchase Order Number and Delivery Note Number must be submitted in accordance with the instructions on the Official Purchase Order.

(d) Goods in Transit - Where the Contract provides for delivery elsewhere than as detailed in clause 6(a) above, the goods shall remain at the risk of the Contractor until delivery is completed.
