Description

Provision of NHS Integrated Urgent Care services to all patients visiting, registered and resident in the following CCG geographies: South Eastern Hampshire CCG, Fareham and Gosport CCG, North Hampshire CCG, North East Hampshire and Farnham CCG, Portsmouth CCG, Southampton City CCG, Surrey Heath CCG, West Hampshire CCG. In addition, NHS England - South (Wessex) have a requirement for a Dental Advice Service.

The Commissioning Intention is to Direct Award new interim model co-design contracts with incumbent provider(s) for this provision until 31st May 2021 and commence a full procurement in Quarter 3 of 2019 for the longer term provision of services.

Attached are two documents:
1. A paper outlining the Commissioning Intentions
2. An invitation to attend a Market Engagement Event planned for Thursday 22nd March 2018 for potential providers receive feedback regarding the Commissioning Intentions and to raise any queries

The service will be based on the NHS England national specification for 111 call handling, Clinical Advice Service and triage, plus integration with locally specified provisions for post triage referral. This will include clinical triage of patients, advice and booking urgent appointments.

This does not include the Isle of Wight requirements.

To attend the Market Engagement Event on Thursday 22nd March, suppliers will need to log on to the Intend portal:

Suppliers will be able to download two documents:
1. Commissioning Intentions report outlining the reasons for the Commissioning Intentions
2. Request for Information form for completion to confirm if your organisation wishes to attend the Market Engagement Event on 22nd March 2019.

Please complete the Request for Information document by 12pm on Monday 19th March to confirm who will be attending from your organisation (maximum of two representatives) and return as a Correspondence message via the Intend portal.

Please raise any queries or concerns by 12pm 9th April 2018. As matters currently stand the commissioners intend to proceed to directly award and enter in to interim three year contracts to the incumbent providers from 16th April onwards.
