Description

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust had a requirement to outsource the storage of medical records to an external records storage provider.
In brief the required service will provide as a minimum:
• Collection of records to include general case note folders, AE cards, dietetic records and physio records
• Indexing of all records upon storage.
• Safe receipt, storage and distribution of records to BTHFT
• Retention and then destruction of records or assistance with destruction of records in line with DOH Management of Records guidelines.
