Description

NOTE: This notice was updated on 13 June 2019 for the following reason: Please note that the deadline to express an interest in the subject opportunity has been extended to the 5th July 2019 at 12 noon .(To fully refurbish qty 8 Vehicle Chassis's Training Aids based on the Land Rover Defender platform used to provide practical training tasks. To Include:-

1. Engine to be returned to fully operational condition.
2. Test and repair injector pump and injectors.
3. Test and repair starter motor and circuit.
4. Test and repair alternator and circuit.
5. Fully overhaul braking system, replacing as necessary.
6. Overhaul and repair clutch system.
7. Replace missing components within cooling systems.
8. Full electrical wiring circuit check to include rectification as required.
9. Inspect steering systems, rectify as required.
10. Inspect suspension systems, rectify as required.
11. Gearbox mountings to be returned to stud/nut and not bolt onto engine.
12. Inspect Transmission systems. All original specification bolts to be fitted.
13. Surface finish (including corrosion removal) to be improved/refurbished to a uniform workshop standard.
14. Land Rover training platforms are to be returned to manufacturers mechanical specification.
Collection and delivery of each chassis is required by the winning contractor.
