Description

East Sussex County Council is seeking to appoint up to four (4) contractors for the provision of body removal services in the County of East Sussex. The services are required where a death has been referred to H.M. Coroner, and the body is to be transported to a pre-designated mortuary for investigation.

The Council has split the Services into four (4) Lots and bodies are to be removed and delivered to the designated mortuary for that Lot, as follows:

o Lot 1: The Conquest Hospital in Hastings, TN37 7RD
o Lot 2: Eastbourne District General Hospital, BN21 2UD
o Lot 3: Woodvale mortuary in Brighton, BN2 3QB
o Lot 4: Pembury hospital, TN2 4QJ
