Description

As part of the commissioning of Demand Led Solutions, in respect of the EU commission funded Birmingham & Solihull Youth Promise Plus (YPP) project, quotations are now invited for delivery of Demand Led Solutions: Digital skills/technology support to NEETs. Within this service area, providers are required to:

• Create a bespoke training package for digital/technology skills designed for Youth Promise Plus project participants to facilitate their access to sustainable employment, further training and apprenticeship schemes (including tapering in-work support).
• Deliver three tranches of training and placement activity comprising three weeks of digital skills/technology training plus a two week work placement with an employer in the sector, including a work place buddy service.
• Generate suitable placement opportunities with employers that have vacancies in the digital/technology sector, and support employers to deliver the Work Buddy Service effectively.

The contract is scheduled to commence from January 2018 and end in June 2018.
