Description

The requirement is to undertake a wintering bird disturbance survey at seven locations within the Upper Nene Valley Gravel Pits SPA in Northamptonshire which will identify, how people currently use these locations and how wintering waterbirds react to existing recreational use.
The project will be made up of three parts:
•Mapping of formal and informal access routes and facilities
•Field surveys recording incidents of recreational activities and the response of waterbirds to these activities
•Report of findings and recommendations
