Description
This opportunity is a land sale and development exercise. The Council is inviting prospective 'bidders' to become its preferred development partner ['Preferred Partner'] to develop the portfolio of 8 sites for only affordable housing. A competitive exercise will enable the Council to assess submissions, and to select its Preferred Partner. The Preferred Partner will apply for planning permission for each site at risk. As planning permission is granted, the Preferred Partner will then acquire each site at market value and then develop it only for affordable housing. The council expects that the _Preferred Partner will expeditiously develop out every site that is granted planning permission.
