Description

The Council wishes to undertake initial market testing to define it's procurement requirements and to appraise itself of current best practice in the market.

Blackpool Council and its partners (Blackpool Coastal Housing & Blackpool Housing Company Ltd.) are seeking to create a Joint Venture with a suitably established industry partner, from either the private or public sector to develop an integrated Property Service and invite suitably competent and already established partners into a dialogue at this early stage of conception.

Capability to deliver a complete range of trades and functions across the following broad areas is essential: (not exhaustive)

• Minor refurbishment projects (up-to £250K)
• Major refurbishment projects (above £250K)
• Void property refurbishments (up-to £5K)
• New build capability
• Facilities Management
• Day to day repair
• Emergency repair provision
• Cyclical and planned maintenance
• Compliance regimes/services
