Description

Warwick District Council is committed to supporting its most vulnerable residents. It offers many practical services to improve their quality of life: an important aspect of this support is a suite of services delivered on a contractual basis. The Council recently confirmed a funding package of ?1m for the next three financial years for this purpose. The Council is now inviting tenders from suitably experienced organisations to deliver some or all of these services. The new contract(s) will commence on 1 July 2018 and run till 31 March 2021.

The Council's priority is to assist the most vulnerable people in the District; the social inclusion services can be used by anyone in the District who meets the service criteria but the Council had identified four geographic areas where it expects delivery to be concentrated. These are:

o Sydenham
o Crown
o West Warwick
o Brunswick

There should be no age barriers to using the services but we expect services delivered in priority wards to take account of particular needs created by local demographics, with tailoring of services to support whatever is needed locally, which could be, for example, concentrations of young families or of older, frail individuals.

As there are four main geographical areas being targeted, this contract has been split into 4 lots:

Lot 1: Brunswick, Leamington Spa - The Contract Value is approximately ?120,500 over the initial term.

Lot 2: Crown, Lillington, Leamington Spa - The Contract Value is approximately ?76,500 over the initial term.

Lot 3: Sydenham, Leamington Spa - The Contract Value is approximately ?83,000 over the initial term.

Lot 4: West Warwick - The Contract Value is approximately ?90,250 over the initial term.

Each lot will be contracted independently. A single supplier will be awarded to each lot. Bidder's are invited to tender for one or more lots.
