Description

Leicestershire County Council (the Employer) is seeking to identify and appoint Contractor(s) to a Road Restraint Systems Framework Agreement (Framework). The estimated value through the Framework is not guaranteed and is dependent on budgets made available to the Employer. The proposed Framework period is 2 years with potential extensions of a further 2 years in 1 year increments subject to performance.

The service consists of repairs to the Employers safety fence asset along with safety fence improvement schemes. Work will consist of:
- very high priority repairs to the Employers safety barrier asset to be carried out within 7 days of notification,
- high priority repairs to the Employers safety barrier asset to be carried out within 21 days of notification,
- planned repairs to the Employers safety barrier asset where sufficient time exists to generate a programme of work. This will typically be 90 day response,
- Road Restraint System improvement schemes.
