ITT DOCUMENTS ARE DRAFT AND FOR INFORMATUION ONLY , WHERE POSSIBLE TUPE INFORMATION IS VISBILE , HOWEVER THIS IS NOT FINALISED AT THIS STAGEHome Group is seeking to appoint Providers to deliver its Grounds Maintenance and Neighbourhood Cleaning Services in the North West and North East areas for its general needs, some older people's services and Leasehold customers.

This contract will cover:

North East
• Tyne & Wear
• Northumberland
• Durham and Sunderland
• Tees Valley
• North Yorkshire ( Richmond)

North West
• North Lakes
• South Lakes

On many of our estates in the North East and North West Home is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of a wide variety of open spaces and communal living areas, through one external contract arrangements. This contract does not include customers individual gardens unless as part of a communal garden.



Home will require a DBS check for each employee working on this contract.

Where tenancy agreements and leases allow, the cost of doing this work is recovered from the residents in the form of service charges.

In the North East, there is currently one incumbent contractor that the majority of the landscaping, grounds maintenance, communal internal cleaning and litter picking.

In the North West, there is currently one incumbent contractor that the majority of the landscaping, grounds maintenance, communal internal cleaning and litter picking.
In addition to this tree works and a tree specialist service may be required.

The Contact will be divided into the following Lots

• Lot 1 -Grounds maintenance North East

• Lot 2 - Communal Cleaning North East

• Lot 3 - Grounds maintenance North West

• Lot 4 - Communal Cleaning North West
