Description
Brackley Town Council is seeking a contractor to deliver the restoration and improvement of Brackley Town Hall, Northamptonshire. Brackley Town Hall is a Grade II* listed building at the centre of Brackley Old Town Conservation Area.
The restoration project is being funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Town and District Council. Works include specialist internal and external repairs, conversion of the attic into a holiday let, a new community kitchen, alterations and redecorations to the main Hall on the first floor, new café and toilets and new office on the ground floor. A new steel staircase and passenger lift and replacement of the mechanical and electrical Services installations and minor landscaping works.
The building programme is expected to commence on site in mid November 2016 and complete by May 2018 subject to the contractor's programme.
