Description
Project Description:
GF02 Reception Classroom
Remove sliding folding doors and frame to existing opening. Form new partition wall, fully separating GF02 and GF03 and forming a 'corridor' to GF02. Provide new door linking the GF02 to the existing corridor, providing door and frame with associated ironmongery. Carry out mechanical and electrical alterations to lighting and heating as required by new layout. Provide decorations and flooring to new corridor area only.
GF03 Nursery Classroom
Remove existing walls to create open plan classroom area providing structural support as required. Carry out mechanical and electrical Install sink within base unit suitable for pupil use. Carry out alterations to lighting, heating and fire alarm as required by new layout. Provide decorations and flooring throughout.
GF04 Nursery Toilets
Form new partition walls to separate toilets and classroom. Install new lay in grid suspended ceiling with suitable light fittings and provide intake and extract ventilation to outside air. Carry out drainage alterations and install new toilet pans, cistern and associated pipework and connect to drainage. Install new basins within vanity unit including hot and cold water supplies, associated pipework and drainage, tiled splash back and mirrors. Also provide changing unit with storage below. Provide decorations and flooring throughout.
GF10 Staff Toilet 1 & GF11 Staff Toilet 2
Strip out existing kitchenette fixtures and fittings. Break through door openings with new solid door and frame with associated ironmongery. Form new partition wall to create 2nr new toilet cubicles. Provide new light fittings and ventilation to both rooms. Install new toilet pan, cistern and associated pipework and connect to drainage in GF04. Install new rinse basin including hot and cold water supplies, associated pipework and drainage, hand dryer, tiled splash back, mirror. Provide decorations and flooring to new toilet cubicles.
GF12 Cleaners Store
Strip out existing layout to create open plan room. Block up door opening between GF12 and GF10.
GF13 Early Years Corridor
Make good decorations and flooring locally to new door openings.
EX01 Nursery Entrance
Provide new entrance and access ramp to Nursery classroom, enlarging the existing window to suit powder coated entrance doors.
Remove 'u' shaped raised planting bed complete.
Ramp to have 1500mm surface width, double height handrails with perforated infill panels, tactile paving to top and bottom and a minimum gradient of 1:15.
Drainage channels to be formed within the base of the ramp to encourage water flow due to sloping nature of the site.
EX02 Nursery Play Space
Remove existing play equipment including rubberised tiles beneath. Also remove planting area with concrete kerb surround complete to side of existing stepped entrance.
