Description

The Council is seeking a contractor to provide strategic property acquisition investment advice and to build and manage a portfolio of assets in accordance with their aims and objectives (see appended strategy). For clarity, the Council is not expecting the contractor to manage the individual properties themselves in terms of facilities management, which will be handled outside of this contract.

The overall aims are to develop a mutually beneficial arrangement which will:
• Have flexibility enabling the Council to access specialist investment advice skills
• Maintain the highest professional standards on corporate governance, environmental and related issues
• Provide an open co-operative and business like culture between all parties involved in managing the Council's property portfolios
• Provide the Council with access to property investment research.
