Description

The BBC has a requirement to appoint a number of providers to a framework agreement for the provision of Apprenticeship Schemes Phase Three and associated Continuous Professional Development Training. These Apprenticeship Scheme(s) require the Providers to teach, support, assess and award to an agreed curriculum. The Providers shall deliver apprenticeship standards in order to grow the talent of the UK media industry and support future skillset needs across the BBC. In addition the BBC will also require successful applicants to offer additional non-apprenticeship Continuous Professional Development Training for BBC staff for all lots apart from Lot 1. CPD Pathways will offer short, structured and accredited courses derived from the certificate, diploma and degree elements of the apprenticeship. User-elected CPD provides individual classes or modules from the curriculum and allows BBC staff and their managers the freedom to complete modules as and when required.

The Framework Agreement(s) will have an initial term of two years commencing on 29th May 2019 and ending on 28th May 2021. The Framework Agreement may be extended The Framework Agreement may be extended at the BBC's discretion numerous times and by any increment. The total duration of the combined extensions shall not exceed 24 months. If the BBC wishes to exercise this option, it will give written notice to the successful Tenderer(s) no later than three months prior to the end of the initial .
