***UPDATE***
Due to operational needs the vessel will be available on or just after 1st December 2019. Works are now to be completed by 8th January 2020.
Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office. BF operate a fleet of five (5) Cutters. One of these Cutters, HMC Valiant (4207 Class), has a requirement for planned maintenance and annual certification of her safety equipment.
The full package of works required is detailed in the attached Statement of Requirements - C17003 - HMC valiant - LSAMA - SoR - vf.
Following this sourcing exercise based on written quotation, this contract will commence on the 1st December 2019. Upon successful acceptance of HMC Searcher by the supplier, the work package is required to be undertaken between 1st December and 20h December 2019 in line with the Cutters' operational working pattern.
Works are to be completed in the areas of Pireas, Perama or Salamina, Greece; this is a critical requirement and failure to confirm this requirement will result in the bidder's exclusion from this procurement.
Bidders are required to submit their written quotations in both .pdf and .docx formats.
The purpose of this notice is to make the Statement of Requirements (SoR) available to and invite potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully itemised written quotation for the work package. Those potential suppliers are invited to send an email to; Ian McDermott, Home office Commercial at Ian.Mcdermott@homeoffice.gov.uk , confirming their interest in this opportunity, providing the itemised quotation, in addition to confirmation of yard availability on the stated dates. Furthermore, confirmation of agreement to the Home Office Standard Short Form Services Terms and Conditions (C1700 - T&Cs - HMC Valiant - LSAMA) on which the contract will be awarded is required.
Quotations should also be accompanied by a Cardinal Date Plan (CDP) as stated in the SoR, section 5.10. All required documentation should be submitted via email to Ian McDermott, at the address above, no later than: 1200hrs GMT, Friday 22th November 2019.
